Job summary

Evlos is seeking a skilled PLC Programmer with 3-4 years of experience to design, program, and maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing automation projects in Malaysia. The role centers on optimizing processes through automation within a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and machine vision engineers, configure PLCs and HMIs, troubleshoot issues, and develop thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of PLC programming experience in automation.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation and control panel design.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Omron PLCs.
• Familiarity with SCADA and HMI development.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement PLC programs for automated machinery and control systems.
• Develop control logic and automation programs based on customer specifications and project requirements.
• Configure and integrate PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and other components for seamless operation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and machine vision engineers to integrate PLC systems.
• Perform hardware and software setup, including PLC configuration, wiring, I/O testing, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PLC and automation issues to ensure reliable operation.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and deployment at customer sites.
• Maintain and update technical documentation including PLC codes and diagrams.
