Job summary

WD is seeking a Plating Process Control Engineer to monitor and optimize plating operations in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on maintaining quality and yield targets, managing bath chemistry, troubleshooting deviations, and driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, 0-3 years in manufacturing, and the ability to work in a cleanroom while communicating effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Chemical Engineering or any engineering background.
• Fresh graduate or 1-3 years of manufacturing/ production experience.
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plating processes to ensure quality and yield targets.
• Implement process improvements and optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with contamination control procedures.
• Participate in FMEA activities and risk assessments.
• Monitor and improve plating OEE performance.
