About the role

Toyo-Memory Technology Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of process engineering solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Plating Engineer / Sr. Engineer to join our team in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and optimization of plating processes within our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

What you'll be doing

Daily monitoring for Productivity, Yield and Quality performance.

Developing and optimizing plating processes to ensure consistent product quality and high manufacturing efficiency

Conducting analysis to identify areas for process improvement and implementing innovative solutions

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Providing technical support and training to production staff to maintain optimal plating operations

Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards

Documenting and reporting on process metrics, findings, and recommendations

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience in a process engineering role, preferably in the plating or surface finishing industry

Proficiency in using process control software, data analysis tools, and project management techniques

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence

Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
