Job summary

Prokhas Sdn Bhd is delivering government IT web applications and platform services to improve public sector operations. This role focuses on operating and evolving a hybrid Kubernetes platform, ensuring security, reliability, and scalable resilience across on-site and cloud environments.

You’ll work with product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to drive observability, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or container platforms.
Comfortable operating Linux-based systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Practical experience with production environments.
Working understanding of security, reliability, and operational best practices.
Comfortable participating in on-call rotations and incident response as part of a team.
Enjoys collaborating, learning, and improving existing systems.

Responsibilities

Operate and continuously improve a hybrid Kubernetes platform (on-prem + cloud).
Collaborate with the team to evolve Kubernetes workloads, operators, and internal tooling.
Implement security guardrails and runtime hardening.
Enhance observability with metrics, logs, and alerts.
Help implement, test, and refine disaster recovery and backup solutions.
Participate in troubleshooting, post-incident reviews, and reliability improvements.
Take part in a shared on-call rotation to support production systems with clear runbooks.
