Job summary

Averis Information Technology seeks a Function Lead, Platform Engineering in Kuala Lumpur to design, implement, and optimize Microsoft 365 solutions for Averis and its customers. You will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure M365 deployments.

The role requires deep M365 expertise, hybrid/multi-cloud experience, and strong focus on governance, security, and data migration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in solution architecture with more than 10,000 M365 users.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing M365 solutions in medium to large-scale enterprises.
• Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: M365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, are highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 products and services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, EntraID).
• Knowledge of IT security and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and document Microsoft 365 solutions that meet business and technical requirements including system configurations, workflow, security and integration points.
• Develop solutions that integrate Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, EntraID, Microsoft Applications and Copilots into existing IT ecosystems.
• Recommend M365-based solutions and provide guidance on migration and implementation strategies.
• Ensure integration with on-premises systems, third-party tools, existing DLP systems, and other cloud services when required.
• Implement governance policies, security controls, identity and access management for Microsoft 365 environments (e.g. EntraID, eDiscovery).
• Oversee the migration of data, applications, and services to Microsoft 365 while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest M365 features, updates, and best practices, and incorporate new technologies as appropriate.
