Job summary

ExxonMobil Malaysia seeks an IT Platform Engineer - Advanced to provide engineering and operational support for IT platform technologies, building stable, scalable, and self-service platforms that enable business capability teams to deploy applications with ease.

You will lead projects, mentor colleagues, automate tasks with IaC templates, enhance observability, and ensure security and compliance across global IT systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms and platform engineering.
• Proficiency in automation and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong focus on observability, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure cloud services with governance and security controls.
• Perform full Platform lifecycle administration and performance tuning.
• Build and improve virtualized environments and manage capacity and storage/vend platforms.
• Maintain platform resiliency design and disaster recovery readiness.
• Create automation scripts, IaC templates, AI services, and deployment workflows.
• Analyze observability data and address performance or reliability issues.
