Overview of the role: Platform Engineer

As a Platform Engineer, you will work closely with our engineering, product delivery, and support teams to build and maintain robust infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will also collaborate with our professional services team to support the deployment of our products into client environments, both on-premise and cloud-hosted.

What you\'ll be doing: Platform Engineer
  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient development and deployment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver features from the product backlog.
  • Maintain and evolve infrastructure automation using modern DevOps tools and practices.
  • Support packaging and deployment processes for both on-premise and cloud-hosted environments.
  • Monitor and manage technology versions to prevent obsolescence (e.g., OS, frameworks).
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure platform architecture.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting across internal teams and client environments.
  • Document infrastructure and deployment processes to ensure clarity and repeatability
Do you have what it takes: Platform Engineer
  • Solid experience in DevOps and platform engineering within agile environments.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Podman).
  • Experience with cloud platforms and on-premise deployments.
  • Knowledge of RBAC/SSO technologies and secure infrastructure practices.
  • Exposure to data technologies such as ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Kafka.
  • Programming experience with Python and JVM languages (Java, Scala).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
