Job summary

BANSHING GROUP in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia seeks a skilled process/maintenance engineer with domain knowledge of PU/UV/acrylic/water-base paints. The role covers paint preparation, application, equipment maintenance, and adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and EMS 14001 standards.

You will work with conveyors, paint booths, ovens, SCADA, and related plant systems. Responsibilities include maintaining booth conditions, performing FPI checks, monitoring paint ratios, and supporting Kaizen/Lean

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical or B.Sc Chemistry with PU paint preparation experience.
• Healthy, not allergic to chemicals used in painting materials.
• 3–4 years in a related plastics/paint shop environment preferred.
• Knowledge of productivity monitoring improvement systems.
• Familiar with ISO 9001:2015, EMS 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
• KAIZEN/5S/Lean manufacturing knowledge.
• Robot, PLC and machine programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of equipment per schedule: paint booth, preparation, line cleaning.
• Maintain temperature and humidity in paint booth.
• FPI inspection and approval process.
• Monitor paint mixing ratio, thinner, oven temperature and records.
• Ad hoc assignments as needed by the department head.
