Job summary

PGEO Edible Oils Sdn Bhd - Packaging DIvison is seeking a motivated Plant Technician to support daily operations at our Production and Refinery plant in Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will operate, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering, with fresh graduates encouraged.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience in manufacturing, refinery, edible oil, palm oil, food processing, chemical plant or industrial operations is a plus.
Able to work on rotating shifts and overtime when required.
Good technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production and refinery equipment according to SOP.
Perform routine plant inspections and report abnormalities.
Ensure production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are achieved.
Assist in start-up, shutdown and changeover activities.
Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance works.
Support preventive maintenance with Engineering and Maintenance teams.
Identify equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain plant cleanliness and 5S housekeeping.
Comply with SHE and Food Safety requirements; participate in safety inspections.
