Job summary

Bizlink Group in Penang is seeking a Security Supervisor for the manufacturing site. You will oversee guards, enforce SOPs, post orders, and manage access control to ensure a secure environment.

You will coordinate with EHS and HR, review CCTV footage, and prepare daily activity reports. The role requires a background in security within manufacturing and knowledge of safety standards to support compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of work experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Degree in Security Management, safety & health sciences, or engineering studies.
• Preferred ex-armed forces personnel.
• Knowledge of TAPA, CTPAT, and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily execution of guard force, ensuring adherence to site SOPs and uniform standards.
• Conduct daily briefings/roll calls with shift guards to communicate risks, VIP visits, or operational changes.
• Perform daily unannounced checks on guard posts (gatehouse, patrol, screening) for vigilance and compliance.
• Administer access control: issue visitor passes, employee badges, and revoke access for terminated personnel.
• Execute daily and weekly loss prevention audits on shipping manifests, scrap disposal bins, and high-value inventory cages.
• Perform daily health checks on CCTV and access control systems; report offline cameras or faulty doors to supervision.
• Review CCTV footage to gather evidence for safety incidents, HR disputes, or missing items.
• Collaborate with EHS and HR to align security policies with plant safety and compliance goals.
• Compile daily security shift logs into a consolidated daily activity report highlighting anomalies and discrepancies.
