Job summary

A leading energy company is seeking a proactive Process Technician to support daily operations at the Port Dickson PME Plant. This role involves operating process equipment, ensuring safety standards, performing sampling, and supporting the plant's overall performance and reliability. Ideal candidates should have a diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Malay and English. The position is focused on maintaining a clean and safe work environment while working independently or collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma qualification or equivalent professional certificate.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related production or plant operations role.
• Able to communicate in Malay and English.
• Basic calculation and reading skills.
• Familiarity with operating valves, pumps, and process instruments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor process equipment including valves, pumps, and instruments.
• Perform plant start‑up and shutdown activities as per schedule.
• Conduct sampling of raw materials, intermediate, and final products for testing.
• Record instrument readings and report to supervisors.
• Support maintenance and testing of repaired or newly installed equipment.
