Job description

We are looking for a competent and forward-looking Plant Manager / Assistant Manager for Lay Hong Liquid Egg (LHLE) at our Meru (Selangor) and Pasir Gudang (Johor) plants.

LAY HONG's pasteurized liquid egg is a high-quality product, manufactured at our modern and highly automated production facilities. It is highly suitable for use in commercial food manufacturing and service industries such as confectioneries, bakeries, hotels, and catering businesses.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Be fully responsible for the entire operation of the plant, including implementing an appropriate reporting system for production planning and processes.
  2. Coordinate calibration and maintenance of equipment, especially logistics cold chain.
  3. Implement ISO, HACCP, Halal, Food Safety requirements, and manage associated audits, reviews, reports, and authorities' requirements.
  4. Manage customers, payments, Food Safety Team Lead, Product Recall Coordinator, control programs, and risk reviews.
  5. Handle other ad-hoc matters to ensure smooth operations and plant development.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing is advantageous.
  • This position is available at Meru (Selangor) and Pasir Gudang (Johor). It is a permanent position.
