Job summary

SARAWAK OIL PALMS BERHAD is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure that all plants run with minimal downtime and to carry out planned preventive maintenance within the allotted timeframe.

Candidates should have a Diploma/Certificate/MLVK Level 1&2 in Electrical & Electronic and 2-3 years of related experience, with duties including proper termination of connections, operating the backup generator as scheduled, and responsible waste disposal.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate / MLVK Level 1 & 2 in Electrical & Electronic.
• 2-3 years of related working experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all plants are running with minimal downtime
• To complete the planned preventive maintenance works within the allotted timeframe by the Maintenance incharge
• Ensure that connections are properly terminated before carrying out works
• Run the backup generator for 20 minutes every two weeks
• Ensure that all the cable, fluorescent tubes, and cable ties are properly disposed of under scheduled waste
