Job summary

Quantum Universal Builders Sdn Bhd is seeking a vigilant Equipment Controller to manage and maintain the Plant & Equipment Register across multiple sites. You will conduct physical counts, tagging and recording of assets, and monitor movements of tools between stores and sites.

The role involves coordinating servicing, maintenance and repairs, inspecting equipment storage conditions, and keeping accurate issue/return/transfer logs for management review.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, plant & machinery, equipment control or store management.
• Construction industry experience is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of construction tools and machinery.
• Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance and servicing.
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel to project sites.
• Possess a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Company’s Plant & Equipment Register.
• Conduct physical inventory checks and ensure equipment is tagged and recorded.
• Monitor location and movement of tools and machinery between sites and stores.
• Coordinate equipment servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor condition and storage of equipment.
• Conduct periodic site inspections and equipment verification.
• Maintain records of equipment issue, return, transfer, repair and maintenance.
• Follow up on missing, damaged or unserviceable equipment.
• Monitor equipment utilisation and recommend transfer, repair, replacement or disposal.
• Prepare regular equipment status and maintenance reports for Management.
• Establish and improve equipment control procedures and systems.
