Your new company

A major integrated refinery and petrochemical complex in southern Malaysia, backed by strong international partnerships. Known for large-scale operations and advanced refinery technologies.

Your new role

As the Planning & Optimisation Lead, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality management and operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly). You will run short-term LP (Linear Programming) models, analyse refinery economics, and provide input on plant capabilities and operational availability. This role requires cross-functional collaboration across operations, business planning, and production teams but does not cover LOP or direct production planning.

What you'll need to succeed

Strategise and drive effective execution of short, medium and long-term operational plans, strategies and initiatives, within the Refinery & Cracker and Petrochemical complex encompassing Polymers (LLDPE, HDPE and PP) and Glycols (MEG, DEG and TEG) plants to fulfil customers’ order, meet asset utilisation targets and achieve the lowest possible total cost to serve with the aim to maximise profitability and to achieve optimum product availability.
