Job description

Our client, a well-established manufacturer, is seeking Planning and Material Control Executive to join their growing team. This role supports both production planning and packaging material management to ensure optimal operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning

Follow ISO procedures for production planning and scheduling.

Plan and firm orders in SAP by SKU, material availability, and batch size.

Align production schedules with actual output; update Excel & SAP daily.

Prepare contingency plans for production emergencies.

Packaging Material Planning

Generate and monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

Ensure packaging material inventory stays within KPIs.

Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings with accurate reporting.

Reporting & Compliance

Prepare reports and system updates regularly.

Ensure compliance with SOP and ISO requirements.

Participate in improvement projects as assigned.

Requirements

Degree in a relevant field.

1–3 years of experience in demand/supply planning, preferably in manufacturing.

Strong command of Mandarin and English (Cantonese is a plus). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Detail-oriented with strong planning and analytical skills.

A proactive team player who can work independently under pressure.

Willingness to work daily in Shah Alam for approximately 3 months during the plant transition phase.

Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bandar Enstek for long-term placement, as the role will be permanently located there.

Additonal Info:

No travel allowance will be provided once the role is based in Bandar Enstek.

Travel allowance is only applicable during the temporary Shah Alam assignment for candidates residing in Negeri Sembilan.
