Job summary

Flex in Batu Kawan, Penang seeks a Planner Scheduler to support materials and production functions. You will plan, schedule and approve product releases based on material and capacity availability.

Daily tasks include checking order feasibility, preparing production plans, monitoring deviations, forecasting needs, and maintaining accurate data in the planning system. Strong collaboration with SCM and procurement is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Prior experience in metal stamping industry would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Check feasibility of orders based on resources (materials, employees, equipment).
• Prepare production plans and input planning data into the integrated computer system.
• Monitor plans, control implementation and take necessary actions for deviations.
• Prepare long-term plans and forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
• Monitor system accuracy in daily/weekly basis; review routing, BOM and CFT data.
• Prepare Clean to build reports; check material availability and replan as needed.
• Monitor stock levels and stock differences; inform order desk if needed.
• Prepare management and CFT specific reports; monitor KPIs.
• Provide assistance to SCM and Order desk within the CFT; coordinate with Master Scheduler.
• Drive process improvements inside and outside Order Management.
