A leading medical device solutions provider seeks a Planner for their Bayan Lepas facility. You will manage production planning, supplier relationships, and ensure efficient inventory controls. This role requires a degree in Business/Management/Mathematics and 1-3 years of relevant experience. Candidates must be detail-oriented, effective communicators, and familiar with ERP systems.

Plan correct production schedule loading to minimize unnecessary production idle time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
Maintain materials requirement planning system
Procure parts and supplies for new products and existing products
Responsible for purchasing components to meet customer's demand
Manage assigned projects from pre-production ramp up to full production volume
Coordinate with suppliers for consigned material
Able to track and monitor scorecard to rate supplier's performance
Manage overall relationship with and performance of suppliers
Ensure deliveries push-out, pull-in, overdue PO or PO cancellation in accordance with latest build plan requirements
Release POs to suppliers and/or inter plants and ensure supply confirmation
Expedite critical component shortages based on Material Status Report
Work with the Division technical team and support manufacturing/operations to solve material availability and schedule issues.
Review product cycle time and demand on-hand to perform best production loading plan.
Manage and continue minimize Day Sales Inventory without impacting manufacturing lead-time.
Maintain high standard of order management and achieving no over aged order in company’s order backlog.
Co-own company’s Cash Conversion Cycle with Finance to achieve company Cash Conversion Cycle goal.
Maintain top accuracy of Work In Process inventory data, products’ min/max inventory level and shipment data.
Ensure inventory system integrity, on-time delivery, and purchase price variance of assigned projects/purchase order.
Address and resolved situation such as supply chain shortages, allocations, slow moving inventories, discrepant material, and alternate sources of supply
Special projects as assigned by Management.
Qualification / Requirements:
Degree in Business / Management / Mathematics with 1-3 years production planning experience in manufacturing environment.
Ability to speak, read and write in English Language & Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers. clients and customers.
Basic business mathematical skills
Detailed, meticulous and good with data.
Experience with Epicor ERP system is an added advantage.
