A leading high-tech manufacturing company in Penang is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage end-to-end planning and drive production scheduling. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business, experience in material planning, and proficiency in SAP. The role offers a dynamic work environment with hybrid options and opportunities to grow in the supply chain field.
Manage end-to-end planning by maintaining SAP material master data, generating component forecasts, and confirming customer orders based on material and capacity readiness.
Drive production scheduling by monitoring work orders (WO), coordinating kitting plans, and aligning daily output with production targets.
Expedite critical materials by collaborating with Purchasing to resolve shortages and ensure on-time fulfillment.
Support new product introductions and ECO changes by working closely with Engineering and Project Teams.
Monitor KPIs and demand signals using customer portals and SAP to adapt to changes and maintain planning accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Experience in material/production planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in SAP MM/PP modules, Excel, and customer portal management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, cross-functional mindset.
Master end-to-end supply chain planning in a dynamic, high-tech manufacturing setting.
Develop expertise in SAP and demand-driven planning methodologies.
