Job description

Responsible for coordinating site works in chemical plants in Jurong Island and improvement works which covers:

· Shall study & understand piping layout/isometric drawings, equipment GAD, plant layout plan/elevation drawings, structural frame drawings, plant 3D model and P&ID.

· Prepare cost estimation for equipment, mechanical & piping works, including other bidding documents for tenders & quotations.

· Prepare equipment & piping layout drawings, and piping isometric drawings based on P&ID, 3D model, and site surveys.

· Prepare project schedule, coordinate site works planning with sub-contractors and follow instructions from site manager.

· Study and have good understand of the chemical plant safety requirements and ensure project team follows accordingly.

· Understand and meet customers’ safety & quality requirements and ensure project team follows accordingly.

· Coordinate site activities arrangement and liaise with clients.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Possess a Diploma or Degree in Engineering Familiar with AutoCAD & related softwares.

· At least 4 years of working experience as Piping / design engineer in petrochemical field or related

· Independent with minimal supervision and good time management

· Effective communication and coordination skills and team work.
