Job summary

Sunway Medical Centre in Malaysia seeks a Physiotherapist to carry a clinical caseload involving assessment and treatment, and to participate in on-call emergency duty rosters at the allocated site.

You will maintain up-to-date, problem-oriented medical records, make independent clinical decisions with support from senior staff, join MDT meetings, and communicate relevant information to the MDT.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy is required.
• General knowledge of physiotherapy management across cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, general medicine and neurology.
• Registered with Malaysian Physiotherapy Association and Malaysian Allied Health Professionals Board.

Responsibilities

• Carry a clinical caseload involving assessment and treatment.
• Compulsory to participate in on-call emergency duty rosters at the allocated site.
• Keep up-to-date accurate problem-oriented medical records to comply with legal and clinical requirements.
• Make independent clinical decisions and evaluate examination outcomes with support from senior staff.
• Attend and participate in MDT meetings and case conferences.
• Communicate relevant clinical information to all MDT members.

• To ensure the keeping of up to date accurate problem orientated medical records to comply with legal and clinical requirements.
• To make independent clinical decisions and to evaluate examination outcomes with support from senior staff.
• To attend and participate in relevant multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and case conferences.
• To communicate relevant clinical information to all members of the MDT within health and social services

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Registered with Malaysian Physiotherapy Association.
• Registered with Malaysian Allied Health Professionals Board.
• General knowledge of physiotherapy management of various condition, eg Cardiorespiratory, Musculoskeletal/ Orthopedic, General Medicine (Geriatric, Cancer, Women Health, Paediatrics) and Neurology.
