PHP Software Engineer – Laravel | Mysql | Docker | AWS

Responsibilities

Refactor and optimize core modules for performance and scalability

Participate in feature iterations, technical design, and daily development tasks

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field

2+ years of backend development experience in PHP

Solid technical foundation, good understanding of system mechanisms and principles

Strong logical thinking, a sense of ownership, excellent collaboration and communication skills, and a high level of self-motivation and curiosity for learning.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Mandarin and English for effective communication and cross-cultural collaboration.

Technical Skills

Proficiency with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter

Experience with MySQL 8, Redis, RabbitMQ, and service discovery or caching middleware

Familiar with PHP libraries and ecosystems such as Composer, Monolog, PHPUnit, Guzzle, Carbon, and ORM frameworks (Eloquent / Doctrine)

Hands-on experience building microservices or modular architectures using gRPC / RESTful APIs, and frameworks such as Laravel Octane, Swoole, or Hyperf

Proficiency in Linux and Docker, with solid knowledge of containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes orchestration

Strong understanding of network programming, including TCP/HTTP protocols, WebSocket communication, and API security (OAuth2/JWT). (Nice to Have: experience with high-concurrency or big data systems, open-source contributions, development for Shopify or other global eCommerce platforms, and familiarity with AWS or GCP.)
