Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Lab Technician with a focus on phlebotomy to join our clinical team in Kuala Lumpur. You will perform a variety of laboratory tests, conduct quality control, and support calibration and troubleshooting of testing instruments under the guidance of the Lab Manager.

Applicants should have 2–5 years in phlebotomy and a Bachelor in Medical Lab Technology or Biomedical Science, or an equivalent qualification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in phlebotomy.
• Bachelor in Medical Lab Technology, Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• Candidates with medical lab scientist or technologist experience will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests.
• Perform quality control on test results, ensuring validity and accuracy.
• Perform calibration and troubleshooting on testing systems and instruments to ensure adherence to established standards of accuracy.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned by the Lab Manager/ Regional Lab Manager.
