The role involves screening, checking, and processing prescriptions, dispensing medications with usage instructions, and collaborating with pharmacists, doctors, and nursing staff to support patient care and workflow efficiency in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• Ability to guide and train new pharmacy assistants and trainees in daily operations.
• Ability to analyze, provide feedback, and propose workflow improvements.

Responsabilités

• Screen, check, analyze, and process incoming prescriptions for completeness, legality, and accuracy prior to dispensing.
• Execute, process, and operate prescription filling and dispensing procedures in accordance with approved pharmacy protocols and policies.
• Check, prepare, and countercheck prepared medications to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Produce, compound, and process pharmaceutical preparations under pharmacist supervision.
• Liaise with pharmacists, doctors, and nursing staff to support patient care and workflow efficiency.
• Identify and submit reports on medication errors, incidents, and near misses promptly to the Pharmacist.
