Job summary

Aurelius Hospital Negeri Sembilan is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to manage stock and dispense medications. Responsibilities include checking inventory, preparing medications accurately, and counselling patients on usage. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma of Pharmacy and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Pharmacy from a university recognized by Malaysia Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in similar role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa.

• Check stock levels and create purchase requisitions.
• Screen prescriptions for accuracy and dispense medications.

Responsibilities

• Checking of stock par level both manually and by system.
• Creating Purchase Requisitions for items that are of low stock and need to be replenished.
• Following up with the suppliers to ensure stock(s) delivery.
• Performing receiving via system and arranging stock(s) according to storage requirements.
• Troubleshooting any inventory related problems.
• Screening of prescription for accuracy.
• Preparing and labelling of medications accurately.
• Charging the medications ordered on the prescriptions accordingly.
• Double checking the accuracy of the medications prepared.
• Dispensing the medications to the patients.
• Counselling the patients on medications and device usage.
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma of Pharmacy from any university recognized by Malaysia Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in similar capacity.
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa language.
• Meticulous and detailed-orientated person.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Patient orientated.
• Good team work.
