Job description

PHARMACIST CUM MANAGER at MEDIGOOD Pharmacy, Kulim Kedah

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Dispense medications accurately and provide professional advice to customers.
  2. Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
  3. Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
  4. Provide guidance and support to junior staff or pharmacy assistants.
  5. Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
  7. Manage stock purchasing to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing stock-outs and overstocking issues.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and product quality.
  9. Track and analyze consumption patterns to make data-driven decisions for reordering and stock management.
  10. Ensure the timely use of medications and minimize waste due to expiration.
  11. Ensure all purchased products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia and possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Responsible, reliable, and a team player.
