About the role

Borneo Specialist Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacist to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to our patients. What you'll be doing

Dispense and distribute medications to patients, ensuring accurate dosage and compliance with prescriptions

Provide medication counselling to patients, educating them on the proper use, storage, and potential side effects of their medications

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient medication profiles and pharmacy inventory

Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry and continuously expand your knowledge and skills

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification

Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Malaysia (PSM) and possess a valid practising certificate

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital or healthcare setting

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, medication management, and patient care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate medication dispensing and management

Commitment to providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and continuous professional development
