Job summary

A leading company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced personal driver to ensure safe and reliable transportation for the MD. The role entails maintaining vehicles, executing various errands, and adhering to all road safety regulations. Candidates must possess a valid driving license, communicate effectively in both BM and English, and demonstrate responsibility and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a personal driver.
• Good BM and English communication skills.
• Physically fit and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Undertake driving duties for MD and execute tasks.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and promptly arrange repairs.
• Carry out errands including banking, postal, and document delivery.

Valid motorcar and motorcycle driving licence with a good driving track record.

Own motorcycle required for dispatch work.

Clean driving record and familiarity with Klang Valley and outstation routes.

Willing to work outstation, overtime, including weekends, late nights, and public holidays when necessary.

Undertake driving duties from MD.

Act as personal driver and execute assigned tasks.

Ensure safety and compliance with road and traffic rules while on duty.

Practice safe driving at all times.

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and prompt maintenance.

Ensure vehicles are in good and safe condition.

No previous disciplinary, criminal, or traffic offence records.

Report vehicle problems or defects immediately and arrange repairs with prior employer approval.

Carry out tasks assigned by MD, including banking, postal, government errands, document delivery, collection, and other errands as required.

Preferably possess basic computer skills.

Perform document filing.

REQUIREMENTS

Passed SPM.

Minimum 5 years experience as personal driver and dispatch clerk.

Good BM and English communication skills (written and spoken).

Physically fit with good observation skills and mental health.

Responsible, disciplined, honest, pleasant personality, and good attitude.

Punctuality in reporting to work.

Preferably non-smoker.
