Job description

POSITION: PERSONAL BANKER

LOCATION AVAILABLE: PERAK

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

To achieve sales/revenue targets assigned by the Bank and contribute towards the achievement of the overall branch targets. To promote and professionally sell a range of retail products to existing and potential customers. Acquire and grow the branch customer base, ENR, deposits (CASA/FD), and fee income. Participate in branch/region/bank sales activities and campaigns to achieve deliverables. Prepare and proactively execute sales plans, perform account opening, cross-selling, up-selling, and engagement with customers for retention and referrals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Sales Planning & Activities
  • Prepare and proactively execute sales plans for prospective customers from the Bank’s leads (LMS) and self-generated leads.
  • Actively participate and collaborate with other sales personnel at the branch/region on sales activities/campaigns for customer acquisition and retention.
  • Plan and identify cross-selling/up-selling opportunities to increase customers’ PHR and revenue.
  • Set appointments, conduct sales visitations, prospect, and engage with customers.
  • Account opening for CASA.
  • Sales Management
    • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to foster closer relationships and generate referrals.
    • Work closely with Branch Manager and Regional Sales Heads on sales activities, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures and observe the sales code of ethics.
    REQUIREMENTS
    • Minimum 2 years sales experience, preferably in Financial Institutions.
    • Pleasant personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Possess relevant licenses required for the portfolio.
    • Results-oriented and sales-driven.
    • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
