Job description

Personal Assistant to Director (with Accounting Experience)

Handle full set of accounts and manage day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.

Arrange and manage installment payments (e.g., hire purchase, leasing, utilities).

Handle withholding tax payments and ensure timely submissions.

Perform bank reconciliations and manage company petty cash and credit card payments for the Managing Director.

Liaise with auditors and tax agents for year-end audit and tax submissions.

Prepare financial and management reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Debtor & Creditor Aging.

Requirements :
  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Account Executive, or similar role—preferably in an SME or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in SQL Accounting System or other accounting software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to interact across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, discreet, and accurate in handling company documents.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin considered an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on practical, efficient solutions.
