The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently and maintain discretion in handling sensitive matters. This is a hands-on and fast-paced role, suitable for someone who can think ahead, act without waiting for instruction, and engage effectively with all levels of stakeholders — including local authorities, consultants, and international investors (especially from China). Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is essential.

Fresh graduates with legal knowledge and strong interpersonal qualities are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day assistance to top management in scheduling, meeting coordination, travel planning, and task prioritization.
  • Prepare, manage, and file confidential documents including legal correspondences, letters, contracts, meeting minutes, and agreements.
  • Attend meetings, take minutes, follow up on action items, and ensure timely execution.

Legal & Compliance Awareness

  • Support legal-related administrative tasks and liaise with legal counsel or in-house legal team on minor agreements or document reviews.
  • Stay informed about government and authority regulations, development-related compliance, and market standards.

Stakeholder Engagement & Networking

  • Build rapport and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, authorities, consultants, bankers, clients, and investors.
  • Represent the superior professionally in meetings, site visits, or external events when required.
  • Handle incoming inquiries or issues and act swiftly on behalf of the superior when necessary.

Multilingual Communication & Investor Relations

  • Translate, draft, and interpret documents and conversations when dealing with Mandarin-speaking investors or partners.
  • Act as a bridge between top management and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, ensuring clear and accurate communication.

Problem Solving & Initiative

  • Identify potential issues or bottlenecks and solve problems independently when possible.
  • Anticipate the needs of the superior and act proactively without waiting for instruction.
  • Exercise good judgment, confidentiality, and discretion in all matters.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Law, Business Administration, or related fields.
    Fresh Graduate are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience: Legal background or legal administrative experience is highly preferred. Fresh graduates with strong interpersonal and organizational skills are welcome.
  • Languages: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Additional qualities include excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong interpersonal skills, tactfulness, discretion, professionalism, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling tools.

Other:

  • Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours when required.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
