About the role
We are seeking a Permanent Dentist Associate to join our established dental team at Foo and Co Dental Centre in Setia Alam, Selangor. Key responsibilities
Providing comprehensive general dental treatment including restorative, endodontic and preventative procedures
Conducting thorough patient consultations and dental examinations to establish accurate diagnoses
Treatment planning and explaining treatment options to patients in a clear and professional manner
Maintaining meticulous patient records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and data protection requirements
Performing routine preventative treatments including scaling, polishing and fluoride applications
Collaborating with other team members to deliver coordinated patient care
Adhering to strict infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment
Contributing to the development and maintenance of clinical standards and best practices within the practice
Staying current with advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development
Building positive relationships with patients to encourage long-term engagement with the practice
What we're looking for
A recognised dental degree (BDS or equivalent) from an accredited university
Current registration with the relevant dental regulatory body in Malaysia
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience practising as a dentist, ideally in a general practice setting
Strong clinical knowledge and competence across general dental disciplines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex dental concepts to patients in an accessible manner
A patient-centred approach with genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care
Proficiency in using dental practice management software and digital technologies
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Professional attitude with strong ethical standards and commitment to infection control protocols
Willingness to engage in continuing professional development and stay abreast of current dental practices
Fluency in English; knowledge of Malay and Mandarin is advantageous
