Job summary

Columbia Asia Hospital - Bukit Jalil seeks an experienced perioperative leader to oversee OR, CSSD and Ambulatory Daycare operations. You will manage staffing, safety, and quality initiatives while ensuring high standards of patient care across perioperative services.

The role requires a State Registered Nurse with 5–10 years in the OR and 3–5 years in supervision; a perioperative nursing certificate is preferred and a current practicing certificate is mandatory.

Qualifications

• State Registered Nurse with OR experience (5–10 years).
• Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory role.
• Post-basic certificate in perioperative nursing.
• Degree in nursing an added advantage.
• Valid annual practicing certificate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth running of OR, CSSD and Ambulatory Daycare.
• Establish and monitor a safe perioperative environment and practices.
• Supervise perioperative care coordination among the surgical team.
• Develop and implement SOPs for perioperative services; supervise staff orientation.
• Maintain credentialing, documentation and staff training records.
• Lead QA, infection control and safety initiatives; coordinate with medical staff.
