Garden International School, based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Part Time Performance Swimming Coach. The successful candidate must be a first class High qualified Swimming Coach with excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and able to be a positive coach of a vibrant swimming community at the school.

Principal responsibilities are:

To support the Head of Aquatics in leading and developing the program for the Swimming Performance and Elite squads inin line with school objectives and the LTAD.

To directly coach the Dragons squads, maximizing the performance of swimmers through motivational delivery and set writing.

To attend all galas, open meets, and school events as and when required

Monitor swim equipment stored at the school

Key requirements:

High Swimming Coach Level Qualifications.

The person we are looking for needs to be dynamic, enthusiastic and adaptable to the ever changing conditions in a busy school

Qualification to a minimum ‘ASA/ STA Level 2 Swimming Teacher’ and UKCC level 2 Coach, or FINA Level 1 to 3 (or Country equivalent)

A proven track record of coaching swimming lessons and a minimum of junior performance coaching programs.

Able to inspire, motivate and effectively communicate with swimmers, coaches, volunteers, parents and other teaching staff

Able to work flexibly with minimal supervision, planning and prioritizing well with strong administrative skills.

Life Saving and First Aids/ CPR qualified

We will provide:

A competitive rate per hour ranges between 100- 150 RM. (10-12 hours/week)
