To act as a trusted advisor offering in-country policy expertise and knowledge to support and educate leaders, managers, and associates on all P&O topics on the moments that matter. People Partners support all divisional customer groups in country, enabling the delivery of lifecycle events, the employee value proposition, talent acquisition, talent management, learning, performance management, employee relations, rewards, pay, and reporting. In addition, People Partners implement P&O change initiatives at a country level, acting as detailed designers and agents of change by working with Business Partners.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Partnering and coaching managers and associates on People related Processes and moments that matter.
- Driving P&O initiatives, supporting the overall P&O strategy, including fostering business ownership and accountability of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Advising on and handling diversity, equity, and inclusion at all levels, e.g., gender representation, LGBTI, pay equity.
- Championing culture and supporting the implementation of corporate initiatives (e.g., Workday, hybrid working).
- Coaching and guiding managers on role evaluations in line with local governance.
- Communicating the full spectrum of inclusion & Psychological Safety.
- Designing onboarding initiatives for new hires.
- Driving data and analytics utilization to identify risks and trends, informing decisions and actions.
- Aligning DEIC efforts with global or local initiatives and implementation.
- Driving quality, effectiveness, efficiency, and continuous improvement for P&O People Partnering and related processes.
- Embracing customer feedback to enhance the customer journey and drive continuous improvement.
- Implementing necessary enhancements to meet business and customer needs.
- Ensuring compliance with local equity / Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations.
- Serving as the first point of escalation for leaders and managers on P&O topics, providing expert advice, guidance, and support.
- Leading in-country transformations, consulting and negotiating with local works councils/unions, and overseeing restructuring processes.
- Managing the local implementation of organizational and structural changes in accordance with country regulations and policies.
- Monitoring compliance, risk management, and reviewing P&O controls as part of the NFCM framework in collaboration with the People Partner team.
- Managing internal movement offers and mobility programs.
- Contributing ideas and solutions to the P&O network.
- Providing credible P&O People Partnering to leaders, managers, and associates, offering advice on moments that matter.
- Coaching and counseling Country P&O Business Partners on local policies and processes.
- Building strong relationships with cross-divisional P&O community members to understand needs and challenges, driving continuous improvement.
- Supporting and coaching leaders, managers, and associates on all P&O topics, promoting self-sufficiency in people processes.
- Required experience of 5 to 7 years in a HR environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- An MBA in HR or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Strong stakeholder management, customer influence, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and work independently.
