Job summary

SH Worldwide Logistics Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our Penang logistics team. This full-time role involves transporting goods, planning routes, performing vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate records while upholding safety standards.

You will load and unload cargo, ensure on-time deliveries, and communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers. A valid Class E license and 1–2 years of trucking experience are preferred, with opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Valid Class E driving licence with clean record.
• 1–2 years truck driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with customers and dispatchers.
• Physically fit for loading/unloading tasks and safety.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently.
• Plan routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Load, secure and unload cargo complying with safety rules.
• Maintain accurate mileage, fuel, deliveries, and vehicle records.
• Follow traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
• Communicate delivery status with dispatchers and customers.
• Ensure vehicle interior and cargo area cleanliness and organization.
• Represent the company professionally during customer interactions.
• Participate in ongoing safety training and refresher courses.
