We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented PDI Dispatcher – Loading Controller to oversee and coordinate product dispatch and loading operations in our refinery. This role operates on a rotational shift schedule and plays a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate loading of finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dispatch activities for terminal loading operations, including printing Bulk Loading Instructions (BLI), recording and dispatching security seals, and preparing Delivery Notes (DN) or Bills of Lading (BOL) and other related documentation.
  • Investigate inconsistent deliveries to ensure the correct quantity is invoiced to the correct customer.
  • Ensure the GSAP system is updated accordingly upon transaction completion.
  • Segregate BOLs appropriately for billing purposes.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in loaded and delivered quantities in a timely manner.
  • Promptly communicate any scheduling inconsistencies to the Scheduling/WMI team.
  • Participate in regular HSSE meetings, gantry STM, and ensure document integrity.
  • Serve as part of the terminal firefighting, emergency response, and oil spill management team, and participate in required training and drills.
  • Support and participate in terminal audits and reviews.
  • Ensure effective handovers between outgoing and incoming staff by following established procedures.
  • Act as a backup to the Day Dispatcher when necessary.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required.
  • Carry out tasks as assigned by the Gantry Operation Controller.
  • Possess knowledge of gantry operation troubleshooting (guide will be provided).
  • Perform PDI Helper duties when the PDI Helper is unavailable.
  • Execute manual loading processes at the gantry in case of OMEGA system disruptions that cannot be resolved within the stipulated time.
  • Willing to work in both Day and Shift Dispatcher roles on a rotational basis to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct inspections of own-collection tankers and perform random checks on SMT trucks.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of SPM in any field, with credit in Science and Mathematics.
  • Must be computer literate; knowledge of the OMEGA and SAP systems is preferred (training will be provided).
  • Preferably has basic knowledge of pump operation and PLC systems.
  • Able to work on shifts and weekends; required to work independently during weekends and off-support hours.
  • Able to manage peak periods by handing over BLIs and BOLs promptly to drivers.
  • Handle drivers' complaints as needed and escalate promptly using the provided guidelines if the issue cannot be resolved.
