About the Role

The PCBA Engineer will oversee and optimize the printed circuit board assembly process. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality and efficiency of PCBA operations, troubleshoot assembly issues, and collaborate closely with design and manufacturing teams to enhance product reliability.

Job Description

Develop, implement, and improve PCBA processes, including soldering, component placement, and inspection.

Collaborate with design and quality teams to review PCB layouts for manufacturability and assembly efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve assembly defects and process-related issues.

Maintain and optimize assembly line equipment and tools to maximize throughput and minimize defects.

Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations to improve product quality.

Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation, work instructions, and quality standards.

Support prototype builds and new product introductions (NPI).

Train production staff on PCBA best practices and safety procedures.

Monitor production metrics and generate reports to support continuous improvement efforts.

Compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualification & Requirements:

Certificate in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent

At least 1 – 2 years working experience in relevant field, preferably in manufacturing industry

Must have knowledge and experience in box build assembly.

Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner

Ability to understand drawing of technical and product design

Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14002
