PCB Technical Support Engineer (Oversea Customer & China Factory Interface)

This role bridges communication between overseas customers and engineering teams in China. You’ll support the sales team on PCB technical discussions, handle engineering queries (EQ), and ensure projects move smoothly from quotation to production.

The position requires strong PCB technical understanding, clear communication, and the ability to work closely with factory engineers in Chinese and customers in English.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales team on technical discussions, quotations, and EQ handling.
• Communicate with customers (English) and factory engineers (Mandarin).
• Review Gerber, stack-up, and specs for manufacturability.
• Provide DFM feedback and propose design or material improvements.
• Coordinate with factories to solve issues and ensure smooth production.
• Prepare technical materials and factory capability slides for customers.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a PCB factory (Process / CAM / Sales Engineering).
• Strong understanding of PCB fabrication processes, materials, and IPC standards.
• Able to interpret Gerber data, stack up, impedance reports, and fabrication drawings.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin – required for daily coordination with customers and factory teams.
• Familiar with PCB software tools such as CAM350, Genesis, Altium or Orcad Designer will be an added advantage.
