Responsibilities
- Prepare and process monthly payroll for all employees (including full-time, contract, and part-time staff).
- Ensure timely payment of salaries, allowances, bonuses, and other claims.
- Maintain and update payroll records, employee information, and statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EIS, etc.).
- Handle payroll-related queries from staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations (LHDN, KWSP, PERKESO, etc.).
- Assist in yearly EA form generation and income tax submission.
- Support HR with staff movement updates (new joiners, resignations, promotions, etc.).
- Liaise with auditors and government bodies when necessary.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing (experience with Malaysian payroll is essential).
- Familiar with payroll systems (e.g. SQL Payroll, AutoCount, or similar).
- Strong understanding of Malaysian statutory regulations (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, Income Tax, etc.).
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and office tools.
