Job Description

  • Manage Payroll Operations & Compliance: Oversee day-to-day payroll processing across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international labor laws and tax regulations specific to the manufacturing industry.
  • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Communication: Lead and mentor the payroll team, collaborate with HR, finance, and senior management, and prepare regular payroll performance reports to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Process Optimization & Vendor Management: Involved in migration projects, continuously improve payroll processes and manage relationships with external payroll vendors to ensure efficient and accurate payroll delivery.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in payroll operations, with a focus on shared services and manufacturing payroll.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in managing payroll team
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin) are a plus to manage mandarin speaking stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance, particularly within the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in transition / migration projects in a Shared Services environment
