EcoOils is seeking a Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in payroll systems, coupled with effective communication skills. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Human Resource / Business Administration or equivalent.
Preferable 2 to 3 years’ experience in payroll.
Well versed in Ms Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc) & Ms Words.
Experience using HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., SQL Payroll, TMS).
Knowledge of Income Tax Act 1967 and Malaysian Labour Laws.
Effective communication skills at all levels.
Organized and able to work under tight deadline.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end payroll for all Company employees (monthly).
Ensure compliance with statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/LHDN, HRDF).
Maintain and update employee payroll records in the payroll software.
Handle salary adjustments, bonuses, allowances, commissions and overtime payments.
Prepare reconciliation, payroll reports and summaries for Management and Finance review.
Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and issuance of pay slips.
Liaise with statutory bodies (KWSP, PERKESO, LHDN, etc.) and handle submissions.
Respond to employee queries regarding salary, tax deductions, or pay slips.
Assist with audits, year-end tax filing, employee tax clearance and EA form generation.
Support HR and finance teams in budgeting, cost projections, and reporting.
Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Well-versed and up to date with the latest statutory bodies circulars and systems.
