A leading company in electronics manufacturing seeks a skilled finance professional to manage payroll analysis and financial reporting. The position involves preparing and auditing payroll records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should have a degree in finance or accounting and strong attention to detail.
. Prepare, analyze, and audit various timesheets, payroll general ledger accounts, reports, and state, federal, and city tax returns.
. Compile payroll statistics for various reports across all locations and when necessary, for outside agencies.
. Update and maintain payroll and other financial records.
. Prepare, analyze, and select appropriate methods for presenting various financial data.
. Prepare forecasts and analyze trends in payroll costs, benefits, and general business conditions.
. Compute and prepare accruals and prepayments for journal entries and account reconciliation.
. Review and analyze information for the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, reports, and taxes for accuracy and reasonableness.
. Support other areas within Finance or other departments as required to meet organizational goals.
. Resolve routine questions and problems, and refer more complex issues to higher levels.
. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by the supervisor.
. Comply with and follow all procedures within the company's security policies.
. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
