The Pastry Head Chef will oversee the creation and presentation of all pastries and desserts, ensuring the highest standards of quality, taste, and artistry. This role involves leading a pastry team, developing innovative recipes, and maintaining smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about pastry arts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods that align with the cafe’s concept.
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all items.
  • Develop and refresh menus based on seasonal ingredients and market trends.
  • Innovate signature desserts and specialty items that enhance our reputation.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor pastry kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Manage scheduling, delegation of tasks, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee daily operations, including ingredient preparation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and manage food costs and minimize waste.
  • Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for quality ingredients.
  • Occasionally engage with guests to gather feedback and tailor offerings to their preferences.
Qualifications:
