Job summary

Palmhead Management & Consultancy Sdn Bhd in Sarawak, Malaysia, is seeking a reliable bus driver to operate company vehicles for daily transport of students and HQ staff according to scheduled routes. You may also cover as a relief Bus Driver when needed, ensuring safety and welfare of all passengers.

The role requires maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing routine inspections, with overtime and weekend work as required by management.

Qualifications

• Valid Class D driving licence and PSV (E) licence.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant driving experience.
• Able and willing to act as relief Bus Driver when required.
• Experience driving buses, vans or passenger vehicles is an advantage.
• Physically and medically fit.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently for daily transportation services.
• Transport students (staff’s children) and HQ staff according to scheduled routes and special trips.
• Act as relief Bus Driver when the designated Bus Driver is on leave or unavailable.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of all passengers during transportation.
• Assist in loading, unloading, securing and delivering goods, equipment and documents to HQ, estates and other locations.
• Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, safe and serviceable condition.
• Conduct daily and weekly vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Ensure vehicle security and compliance with road safety regulations and Company procedures.
• Assist other drivers and perform off-site transportation duties when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management or Immediate Superior.
