An individual in this role assists the HOD in building health partnerships that promote wellness and support health claims, focusing on delivering effective health interventions throughout the customer journey. The Manager is responsible for executing the vendor onboarding process, maintaining relevant documentation, managing daily vendor affairs, and managing content for the health app. This position reports to the HOD (Partnerships and COO's Office), Operations.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Executing the onboarding process for prospective vendors, including compiling necessary documentation and assisting with go-live implementation.
  • Managing timely roll-outs according to the schedule.
  • Maintaining vendor relationships and handling daily inquiries and requests.
  • Managing service agreements, including service delivery, feedback, and cost reviews.
  • Negotiating independently with vendors.
  • Analyzing performance data to recommend renewals, terminations, or new services.
  • Following up with internal departments for necessary clearances (procurement, legal, branding, IT security, compliance, corporate communication, etc.).
  • Preparing periodic reviews, reports, and analysis on vendor SLAs, utilization, feedback, and cost savings.
  • Maintaining inventory of contracts and proper documentation of vendor responses and related information.
  • Planning, preparing, and compiling health content for the health app, adhering to SOP and editorial guidelines.
  • Performing other responsibilities as directed by the Head of Department, Partnerships & COO's Office.

Important to your success:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or Insurance.
  • Substantial experience in the insurance industry, especially in health insurance, is an advantage.
  • Experience managing partnerships or alliances, particularly with healthcare providers, is highly valuable.
  • Previous roles in business development, account management, or strategic partnerships within healthcare or insurance sectors are beneficial.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills for managing relationships with healthcare providers and partners.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to identify partnership opportunities and optimize collaborations.
  • Project management skills to oversee partnership initiatives and ensure successful implementation.
  • Familiarity with using ChatGPT for automating routine tasks and enhancing productivity.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu; additional languages are highly valued.
