KK Group of Companies (Retail) seeks a Shop Assistant (Part Time) for KK SUPERMART Batang Kali on Jalan Meranti (BKM). This role focuses on delivering friendly customer service, stocking shelves, and accurate till operations in a busy supermarket.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and colleagues.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from store management.
• Physical fitness for tasks involving standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying stock.
• Basic numeracy skills and the ability to operate a till system.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including potential weekend and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly and professional customer service to shoppers, assisting them with product enquiries and locating items throughout the store
• Restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed neatly, clearly labelled and arranged according to store standards
• Operating the till system accurately and processing customer transactions efficiently, including handling cash and card payments
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the store, including aisles, shelves, stockroom and customer facilities
• Checking product expiry dates and removing expired items from shelves to ensure quality and compliance
• Receiving and unpacking deliveries, checking stock against delivery notes and transferring items to appropriate storage areas
• Assisting with promotional activities and ensuring promotional displays are maintained according to guidelines
• Following health, safety and food hygiene regulations at all times
• Supporting the store team to meet sales targets and contribute to a positive shopping experience
