Job summary

Muji Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Part Time Retail Assistant for our NU Empire store. You will deliver excellent customer service, help customers find products, and contribute to sales targets while maintaining store and storeroom cleanliness.

Key duties include assisting customers, handling POS transactions accurately, and participating in promotions. Weekend availability is preferred to support peak shopping times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Retail experience is welcomed but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Weekend/holiday availability may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with a friendly demeanor.
• Assist customers in locating products within the store.
• Answer questions on product features, prices and availability.
• Achieve assigned sales targets by promoting products.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisor of shortages or overstocks.
• Maintain cleanliness of the retail outlet and storeroom.
• Perform POS transactions accurately and handle cash or card payments.
• Provide correct change during cash transactions.
• Participate in promotional events and campaigns to drive sales.
