Job summary
A leading Malaysian university is seeking a Lecturer in Biomedical Science to prepare teaching materials, supervise research, and develop curricula. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree and has teaching experience in general physiology. Passion for education is essential. This position is located in Selangor, Malaysia.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Biomedical Science required with specialisation.
- Teaching experience in general physiology preferred.

Responsibilities
- Prepare teaching materials for student learning.
- Supervise postgraduate research activities.
- Utilise learning management system for student learning.
- Develop and update lesson plans and syllabi.
- Prepare examination questions and provide mentoring.

Responsibilities
- To prepare teaching materials such as teaching notes, manuals, slides, reading for student learning, lesson plans, scheme of work, tutorials, assignments and class discussion
- To supervise postgraduate students on research activities and grants.
- To utilise the learning management system to maximise student learning.
- To develop, review and update all lesson plans, schemes of work, syllabi from time to time to reflect current practice.
- To prepare test/examination questions together with appropriate marking scheme in timely manner and to act as academic advisor / mentor to students and offer pastoral support.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science, and with appropriate specialisation and/or teaching experience.
- Prefer candidate with teaching experience in general physiology.
- Have passion in teaching and willing to go the extra mile to provide quality education to students.
