Job summary

Ogawa is seeking a dynamic live streaming host for Malaysia (Selangor). You will plan and host engaging shows on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok, craft scripts, and interact with viewers to boost engagement and sales.

Applicants should be fluent in Bahasa Melayu with strong communication and presentation skills, and comfortable with on-camera broadcasts in a fast-paced environment. Prior live-hosting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Bahasa Melayu, both written and spoken.
• Strong familiarity with Lazada/Shopee/TikTok platform, trends, and user behavior.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable with live broadcasting and interacting with a live audience.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for social media, digital marketing and staying ahead of industry trends.
• Previous experience in live hosting (Shopee, Lazada), presenting, or related fields is an added advantage

• Plan and host engaging live streaming sessions on the Tiktok/Lazada/Shopee platform. You will be responsible for conducting live shows that showcase our products/services
• To familiarize the product selling points, pre-plan live script & flow to make sure the live runs smoothly
• Interact with viewers during live broadcasts by responding to comments, answering questions, and encouraging participation
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts for live shows.
• Stay updated with the latest platform trends, challenges and features to incorporate into content creation.
• Ensure high-quality production standards, including audio, visuals and overall presentation.
• To propose ideas and create short video that help boost viewer engagement
• Act as a brand ambassador, promoting our products/services and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time
